Garet, his wife Jessica, and their four children have made North County their home since 2016, where they enjoy a peaceful, intentional life tending to the plants and animals of their aspiring homestead. Their days are filled with the simple joys of caring for creation and cultivating a home rooted in faith and family.
Travel is a cherished family passion, and they often explore the breathtaking beauty of God’s creation both locally and across greater distances. These adventures frequently blend with Garet’s lifelong love of surfing, a pursuit that connects him deeply to the natural world and provides moments of reflection and renewal.
Professionally, Garet is a registered nurse working in corrections—a role that requires compassion, patience, and strength. Beyond his work, his heart is drawn to theology, church history, and great books, with a special interest in the rich teachings and traditions from antiquity and the Middle Ages.
Motivated by a deep love for the flourishing and purity of the Church’s worship and mission, Garet considers it a profound honor and blessing to serve the church community in this way, seeking always to contribute with humility and dedication.
